Cattle disease infographic

MSD Animal Health asked us to design an infographic for Lumpy Skin Disease, a new cattle disease emerging in Europe, that they could use in their communications with key audiences including governmental decision makers, veterinarians and farmers, scientific leaders in veterinary health and consumers.

The infographic’s purpose is to highlight the speed at which the disease spreads, how it’s spread, the signs in cattle, its economic impact and how to control it. The brief was to keep to the same look and feel as other MSD infographics and to provide a flexible solution that could be used across languages. There are two versions of the infographic, one with generic contact information and one with blank space for personalised contact information.

We delivered a comprehensive package to accommodate the international needs of the messaging:

• English language low-res PDFs for email attachment and hi-res PDFs for professional printing.
• Text editable versions of the low-res PDFs to enable local translation into another language.
• Open artwork files so agencies can make minor changes and customize to local needs.
• Individual graphic elements for use with social media.
